France’s Interior Minister warns of “resumption” of “Islamist terrorist” threat in Europe

During his visit to the US, the French Interior Minister has warned of the risk of a “resumption” of the “Islamist terrorist” threat in Europe.

In an interview with Agence France-Presse, Gérald Darmanin emphasized the importance of collaboration to combat terrorism.

Highlighting the challenges the US faces including mass shootings and supremacy, Darmanin called on the Americans not to forget the primary threat in Europe which he described as the Sunni terrorism.
