Husseiniyat Al Yasin in the Australian city of Sydney, affiliated with the Shirazi Religious Authority, has commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad’s uncle, Sayyed Hamza ibn Abdul-Muttalib, peace be upon him.  

The ceremony recalled the sacrifices of Sayyed Hamza, peace be upon him, and his support and defense of the Messenger of God, peace be upon him and his family.

The ceremony included the recitation of Hadith al-Kisa, Ziyarat Ashura, Ziyarat al-Abbas, Ziyarat Um al-Baneen and Dua Tawwasul, in addition to the a lecture on the biography of the revered figure.
