Nonviolence Organization congratulates International Community on Nawruz Day, calls for releasing prisoners of conscience

The International Nonviolence Organization (Free Muslim) extended its congratulations and well-wishes the peoples of the world on the occasion of Nowruz Day, calling on governments to seize this occasion to release detainees and prisoners of conscience.

In its congratulatory message seen by Shi’a Waves Agency, the Organization said: “It congratulates all people on Nowruz, especially the peoples of Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Albania, Iran, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Iraq, Syria, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and India.”

The organization also expressed its hope that “Governments’ policies will be up to the aspirations of their peoples, in achieving equality and social justice and to preserving human rights.”
