Muhammad Shia’a al-Sudani, Iraq’s Prime Minister, has launched an extensive service campaign in the holy city of Kadhimiya.
The campaign includes the development of roads, bridges and public transport, and includes maintenance and cleaning of the city’s streets, providing the municipal staff with the necessary vehicles and machines.
The campaign also includes the development of parks and public service sector, including lands belonging to government departments, as well as developing the Kadhimiya Corniche by the Baghdad Municipality, relocating two prisons to make the place an amusement park.
The campaign also aims at ending traffic jams, improving the city’s electricity and sewerage system to serve the citizens and pilgrims during massive pilgrimages.
