The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced that the Kingdom is ready to receive two million pilgrims during the Hajj season for the current year 1444 AH, corresponding to 2023.
According to Arab media outlets, the groups that are not allowed to travel to perform Hajj this year, according to the decision of the Ministries of Health, Interior and Solidarity, are as follows: Patients with renal failure who require dialysis sessions, patients with pulmonary fibrosis, cases of morbid obesity, advanced cases of cardiovascular diseases.
Patients with renal fibrosis and tumours. Pregnant women in their first and last months.
Mental illnesses and Alzheimer’s, according to approved medical reports. People with chronic and incurable diseases. Those who have previously performed Hajj up to 5 previous years.
