Qur’an Int’l Exhibition held in Karbala displays Qur’an attributed to Imam Ali

The International Exhibition of the Noble Qur’an, organized in Bayen al-Haramayen area in Holy Karbala, witnessed the display of a group of manuscript copies, the most important of which is the Qur’an attributed to Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

The pavilion of the Holy Shrine contained a group of exhibits, including paintings on the origin and types of Arabic calligraphy, the beginning of diacritical dots and marks.

A documentary film was presented on the restoration of one of the written copies of the Holy Qur’an, the tools and materials that go into the process of restoring manuscripts.
