The tragic circumstances experienced by Muslim families in Ukraine could not prevent them from cooperating with each other and even with the followers of the Christian religion and others.
On the contrary, they only increased their humanitarian activities in accordance with the trachings of the Noble Prophet and his pure family, peace be upon them. Although the war waged by Russia against Ukraine caused material and human losses, Muslims courageously faced it and helped each other.
Shia Waves Agency monitored charitable and humanitarian activities of a number of Islamic institutions and centers in several Ukrainian cities, which reflected the true Islam and its emphasis on caring for the needy and the poor in the darkest circumstances.
The Council of Muslims of Ukraine announced the launch of the winter campaign to provide relief to those affected by the war, in cooperation with the German “Muslim Helfen” association in Odessa Governorate.
Meanwhile, the Al-Manar Islamic Cultural Center, in the city of Kharkov, distributed food baskets to dozens of needy families affected by the war in the country.
