New chandeliers decorate the ceiling of the Basement of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) at Al-Abbas Holy Shrine

The Al-Abbas Holy Shrine has begun installing chandeliers inside the Basement of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) below the courtyard of the Holy Shrine.

The official in charge of the Maintenance Unit, Ali Mejhool Muhammad, said that 32 new chandeliers plated with gold and sapphire crystal, arrived disassembled and were installed by the specialized staffs.

Muhammad added that there are three different types of chandeliers: a chandelier with 25 lamps, a chandelier with 19 lamps, and a chandelier with 15 lamps, noting that “the installation work began on the 25th of last month.”
