York Mosque wins first prize in British Mosques Competition in field of supporting new Muslims

The York Mosque and Islamic Centre, in Tang Hall, England, has been awarded the ‘Best Convert Support’ at the 2022 Annual British Mosque Awards in London.

Media outlets, followed by Shia Waves Agency, reported that “York Mosque won this important award, for its activity in supporting new Muslims,” indicating that “the arbitration was based on evidence from the testimonies presented and the general vote of the public.”

Ms. Abby, who runs the New Visionary Women’s Group said, “We look forward to improving our services to Muslim converts and providing them with assistance, and we will continue to support and find new ways to expand our activities.”
