Shia Tunisians celebrate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad and Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon them)
Shia Tunisians celebrated the birth of the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) and his grandson Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), expressing their happiness on the blessed occasion.
A large gathering of Shia Muslims in Tunisia attended the blessed celebration held by the Ahlulbayt Center, yesterday.
In a post on its Facebook page, which was followed by Shia Waves News Agency, the Center stated that “the joyful celebration was held on the birth anniversary of the Noble Prophet and his grandson, Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon them).”
It added that “the event included several activities including lectures, poetry recitation and an award ceremony honoring the local competencies in the country.”
The Center pointed out that its director, Sheikh Ahmed Salman Al-Ahmadi, delivered a lecture in which he spoke about the necessity of thanking Allah the Almighty for the blessing of the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) for the mercy bestowed upon mankind.”
The Shias in Tunisia are living these days in an atmosphere of happiness and joy by reviving the occasions of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).
