More than a million pilgrims visited the Holy Shrine of Imam Redha (peace be upon him) on the night of his martyrdom

 Coinciding with the martyrdom anniversary of the eighth leader of the world’s Muslims – Imam Redha, peace be upon him – many pilgrims went to the holy city of Mashhad.

 According to the announcement by the Hoyl Shrine officials, about one million and 350 thousand pilgrims visited the shrine of Imam Redha (peace be upon him) on the day and night of his martyrdom.

The number of pilgrims is calculated on a daily basis, with an average of 500,000 pilgrims per day.
