Mission of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi begins activities of Arbaeen Pilgrimage 

The Mission of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, has begun its activities, hand-in-hand with the influx of millions of Husseini pilgrims to the holy city of Karbala to commemorate the massive Arbaeen Pilgrimage.

 A group of seminary scholars and students participate in these activities of the Mission, in order to provide the maximum possible services to the Husseini pilgrims, especially in the educational and religious fields.

 Among the most important activities of the Mission is receiving and hosting scientific, religious, cultural and social figures, answering various legal, ideological and social questions asked by pilgrims, providing various instructions, establishing the five obligatory prayers in congregation, and distributing pamphlets and religious and cultural publications,  especially publications of the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi. 

 The first day of the Mission witnessed the establishment of the obligatory prayer in congregation led by Hojjat al-Islam, Sheikh Nasser al-Asadi, and the mourning ceremony by Hojjat al-Islam, Sheikh Ihsan al-Hakimi.

 It is worth mentioning that members of the Karbala office of Ayatollah Shirazi attended the opening activities of the Mission.
