The Badi’ Karbala region in India witnessed the organization of a symposium entitled, The Day of Hussein, peace be upon him, in which the lecturer, Sayyid Muhammad Kazem Shabib, referred to the greatness of the eternal Karbala revolution and what the Master of Martyrs, peace be upon him, presented to all humanity.
According to what was reported by the Urdu-speaking newspaper (Life Hindustan), and followed by Shia Waves, “the symposium shed light on the human rights issue of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and his sacrifice on the land of Karbala to save religion and humanity.”
It added that “the lecturer confirmed that Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, the grandson of the Noble Prophet, made the greatest sacrifice 14 centuries ago with his family and companions to save Islam and the rights of Muslims.”
Shabib pointed out that “Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, not only teaches Muslims religious duties, but also teaches them how to defend their rights and the rights of the oppressed.”
At the conclusion of the event, the Imam Hussein Social Fund project was announced in order to provide humanitarian aid and educational services to Ahlulbayt followers in the region.
