The former Dutch Prime Minister, Dries van Agt, stressed the need to take into account the feelings of Muslims, after the insult against the personality of the Noble Messenger, peace be upon him and his progeny.
Agt said in a statement to Zaman Newspaper, followed by Shiawaves, that “after the offensive cartoons insulting Prophet Muhammad, we must pay more attention and take into account the feelings of Muslims in the Netherlands.”
He pointed out that “Christians will not tolerate portraying the Prophet Jesus, peace be upon him, in the same way.”
