18 militants killed in the Afghan province of Kandahar

The Afghan Ministry of Defense announced that at least 18 militants were killed in the southern province of Kandahar.
In a statement published by Xinhua, it indicated that “18 militants were killed, during the operations that covered parts of the Dand, Gilay and Maroud regions,” explaining that “anti-personnel and anti-vehicle mines were found, and they were neutralized.”
The Taliban terrorist movement, which is active in parts of Kandahar province, has not commented on these operations so far, according to the agency.
