Five people, including a woman, killed and wounded in two explosions in Diyala

A government official in Diyala announced, on Thursday, that five people were killed and wounded, including security personnel, when two explosive devices exploded northeast of Baqubah.
The director of al-Abarra district, Shaker Al-Tamimi, said in a statement, that two explosive devices exploded on an agricultural road targeting a police checkpoint, killing a woman and wounding 4 others, including security personnel.
Al-Tamimi added that the security services opened an urgent investigation into the terrorist attack.
Al-Abarra district occasionally suffers from repeated security breaches.
