Bahraini Interior Ministry threatens participants in the revival of Arbaeen Pilgrimage

The Bahraini Ministry of Interior issued a statement containing a threat to the followers of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, in the country, to take legal measures against the participants in the revival of Arbaeen, in the event that gatherings are held in homes.
The Bahraini Interior Ministry statement said, “In light of the statement of the Jaafari Endowments Department calling for preventing gatherings during the revival of Arbaeen, the Ministry of Interior stresses the need to adhere to preventive measures in reviving the occasion, through live broadcasting on social media networks and not holding gatherings in homes, as Health Ministry reports indicate that the virus has spread significantly among children and women.”
The government said that it would “take legal measures against those who violate in order to preserve public health.”
This is not the first time that the Bahraini Ministry of Interior issues such a statement, as it used to threaten citizens on several religious and political occasions.
