The 11th National Elite Quran Recitation Contest concludes with the representative of the Quran House of the Imam Hussein Shrine, international Quran reciter Usamah ElKerbela’i awarded for the first place.
The 11th National Elite Quran Recitation Contest concludes with the representative of the Quran House of the Imam Hussein Shrine, international Quran reciter Usamah ElKerbela’i awarded for the first place.
The director of the Academic Office of the Quran House, sheikh Khairud-Deen Ali Hadi, said it was a challenging contest held by the Shia Muslim Endowment Bureau in which Usamah won first place.
He added that this win is a remarkable achievement added to the achievement record of the representatives of the Quran House.
In 2007, Usamah won second place in an international contest for Quran recitation held in Iran. In 2009, he won first place in another international contest for Quran recitation held in Malesia.
