New holy grille to be installed soon at al-Askariyain Holy Shrine

Hujatul Islam Seyyed Ibrahim Lajurdi, head of the al-Askariyain holy grille manufacturing project, announced that the installation process has begun.
Seyyed Lajurdi said that the project took four years to be finished, adding that the Iranian-made holy grille contains 10.5 tons of teak wood, 4.5 tons of silver, 3 tons of copper, and 70 kg of plated gold.
Seyyed Lajurdi further added that the holly grille was engraved using Arabic Islamic calligraphy in addition to other Islamic arts for embellishment.
It is worth mentioning that the holy grille was manufactured under the supervision of Grand Ayatollah Sistani office in the holy city of Qom.
