A ceremony was held in Adana Province, southern Türkiye, to honour 34 Turkish women who successfully memorised the Holy Qur’an and received certificates of memorisation after four years of intensive study in Islamic and religious sciences.

The ceremony took place at the Yüreğir Cultural Centre under the auspices of the Union of Scholars, with large numbers of family members and local residents in attendance. The programme included Qur’anic recitations, religious performances and praises of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him and his family.

The graduates received a warm welcome from attendees, who presented them with flowers in recognition of their achievement and dedication to memorising the Holy Qur’an.
