Seoul Central Mosque in South Korea will host an Islamic Culture Day on Saturday, October 24, organized by the Korea Muslim Federation to introduce Islam and Muslim traditions to non-Muslims and promote intercultural understanding.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Yongsan district. Activities will include a book exhibition, lectures and a marketplace featuring Islamic clothing, modest fashion, Islamic-related products and halal food. Vendors can reserve a stall for 30,000 South Korean won.
The mosque, which serves as a place of worship as well as a centre for education and cultural activities, regularly organizes Quran classes and religious programmes. Organizers are encouraging Muslims to invite non-Muslim friends and acquaintances to participate, fostering dialogue and helping the Korean public learn more about Muslim traditions and ways of life.
