The Lebanese Ministry of Health: The Death Toll from Israeli Attacks Rises to 4,352 Martyrs and Over 12,000 Injured

The Lebanese Ministry of Health has announced that the death toll from Israeli attacks on Lebanon has risen to 4,352 martyrs and 12,318 injured since March 2nd, amidst ongoing bombings, incursions, and military operations by Israel, particularly in the southern regions of the country. The ministry, in a statement, indicated that Israeli attacks over the past two days have resulted in the martyrdom of two individuals and the injury of eight others, thereby raising the cumulative toll of victims since the escalation began.

On the previous Wednesday, the Ministry of Health had reported that the toll of victims stood at 4,350 martyrs and 12,310 injured, prior to the registration of new victims over the subsequent two days.

The increase in the toll coincides with the continuation of Israeli military operations in various parts of southern Lebanon, which include aerial raids, artillery shelling, ground incursions, and the execution of explosive operations in several towns. Recently, the southern regions have witnessed an escalation in field activities, with the Israeli army executing explosions in three towns, an incursion into the town of Ayta ash-Shab, setting fire to its outskirts, alongside artillery shelling targeting other areas.

The ongoing developments on the ground continue to raise concerns regarding the humanitarian and security situation in the affected areas, while the Ministry of Health and relevant bodies persist in monitoring the numbers of victims and updating the toll resulting from the attacks.
