Shirazi House in Holy Qom Commemorates the Martyrdom of Imam Hasan al-Askari (Peace Be Upon Him)

The house of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, may God prolong his shadow, in the holy city of Qom held mourning gatherings to commemorate the painful anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hasan al-Askari (peace be upon him).
The gatherings, held on Friday, August 21, 2026, were attended by a group of scholars, distinguished religious figures, representatives of senior religious authorities, seminary students, cultural figures, and members and followers of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
The gatherings were held as part of efforts to commemorate occasions related to the lives of the Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), recall the hardships endured by Imam Hasan al-Askari (peace be upon him) during his blessed life, and highlight his biography, status, and role in preserving the teachings of authentic Muhammadan Islam.
The gatherings also expressed feelings of grief and condolences on this painful occasion, in a spiritual atmosphere that reflected the believers’ deep attachment to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and their commitment to commemorating their legacy and spreading their teachings and blessed biographies.
