Coinciding with the Arbaeen anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), the holy shrine of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), the daughter of Imam Ali and granddaughter of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon them), in Damascus, Syria, was filled with mourning and sorrow as devotees of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) gathered to hold solemn commemorations.
