Residence of Grand Ayatullah Shirazi in Qom Holds Mourning Gatherings for Martyrdom Anniversary of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him)

The religious residence of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi in the holy city of Qom held mourning gatherings to commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him), with the participation of scholars, seminary students, religious speakers and groups of believers.

The ceremonies, held in morning and evening sessions, witnessed wide attendance as participants remembered the life and legacy of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him), highlighting the hardships and injustices he faced during his life and Imamate, as well as his role in preserving the Islamic message and promoting values of patience and reform.

A number of Hussaini speakers took part in the gatherings, delivering lectures on different aspects of Imam Hasan’s (peace be upon him) life and historical positions. The programs also included elegy recitations that expressed grief and devotion on the occasion.

Participants offered their condolences to the family of the Prophet (peace be upon them) on the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Prophet’s grandson (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), stressing the importance of commemorating such occasions to draw inspiration from the values and principles represented by the Imams of Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), while praying for peace, justice and security throughout the world.
