Imam Ali Shrine Launches Free Internet Service Ahead of Arbaeen Pilgrimage

The Holy Alawi Shrine has announced the launch of free internet service around the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali, peace be upon him, as part of early preparations to receive pilgrims during the month of Safar, especially those arriving for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
The Information Technology Center at the Holy Alawi Shrine said the project aims to provide free connectivity for visitors around the sacred Alawi courtyard, helping them communicate with their families and benefit from electronic services during the pilgrimage period.
The center said the launch comes as part of an integrated plan to develop digital infrastructure and improve technical services provided to millions of pilgrims arriving in the holy city of Najaf before beginning their walk toward holy Karbala for Arbaeen.
The project is part of a series of service and organizational measures being implemented by the Holy Alawi Shrine in preparation for the Arbaeen pilgrimage, with the aim of offering better services and strengthening technical and logistical support for the expected millions of visitors.
