Afghanistan Media Support Organization Warns of New Security Threats Against Media and Journalists in Kabul

According to Hasht-e Subh Daily, the Afghanistan Media Support Organization (AMSO) has expressed serious concern over the escalation of security threats against media outlets and journalists in Kabul, calling on the Taliban not to use the media as a tool in “regional conflicts.”

AMSO emphasized that journalists must not be forced to carry out propaganda in favor of the Taliban or against neighboring countries.

The organization also called for the physical and psychological safety of journalists to be ensured, urging international institutions to increase their support for Afghanistan’s media sector.
