Shia Scholars in India Emphasize Promoting Culture of Wilayah, Justice, and Islamic Guidance on Eid al-Ghadir

Shia Muslims in India marked the blessed occasion of Eid al-Ghadir by holding Friday and congregational prayers, celebrations, and religious programs in various cities.

During these ceremonies, speakers and religious scholars explained the different dimensions of the event of Ghadir and emphasized the importance of the Wilayah of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, and its role in guiding the Islamic community.

In the city of Lucknow, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Sayyid Reza Haider Zaidi described the event of Ghadir in his Eid al-Ghadir Friday sermon as a complete divine system and a charter of Wilayah and justice.

Comparing Ghadir with Saqifah, he described Ghadir as the manifestation of divine will for guiding the Muslim Ummah. He stressed that returning to the teachings of Ghadir can provide a path for confronting oppression, discrimination, and injustice in the contemporary world.

According to Shia Waves Agency, he also emphasized the deep connection between the message of Ghadir and the movement of Ashura.

In Mumbai, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Sayyid Rooh Zafar Rizvi described Wilayah as the foundation for the acceptance of acts of worship and a factor in the perfection of religion.
