Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Offers Condolences on Martyrdom of Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib, Passing of Abdul Azim al-Hasani

The office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husayni al-Shirazi, in the holy city of Qom, expressed its profound condolences on the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Honorable Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib (peace be upon him) and on the passing of the eminent scholar the Honorable Abdul Azim al-Hasani (peace be upon him).

These commemorations occurred on the 15th of the noble month of Shawwal, accompanied by special mourning events and programs.

In its condolence statement, the office said:
“May Allah magnify our rewards and yours for our shared grief on the anniversary of the martyrdom of the defender of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family), and the supporter of Islam, our master Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib (peace be upon him), and on the anniversary of the passing of the devoted scholar to the Imams of Guidance, Sayyid Abdul Azim al-Hasani (peace be upon him).”

The statement added:
“This occasion, which coincides with the fifteenth of the noble month of Shawwal, also coincides with the anniversary of the passing of the grandson of Imam al-Hasan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him), the eminent scholar Sayyid Abdul Azim al-Hasani (peace be upon him).”

It should be mentioned that mourning sessions were held across several Shia communities worldwide to honor the memory and virtues of these esteemed figures of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
