Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi has called on leaders of Muslim nations to draw inspiration from the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) in fostering mercy, compassion, and moral conduct within their societies.

In a statement marking the Prophet’s birth anniversary, the Supreme Marja stressed that simply possessing this spiritual and ethical heritage is not enough unless it is translated into practical success in building just and stable states. “It is appropriate for the rulers of Islamic governments to learn from the Prophet and make kindness, mercy, and good morals the foundation of their dealings with people,” Grand Ayatollah Shirazi said.

He emphasized that the Prophet’s memory should awaken awareness and determination across the Muslim community, urging believers to follow the example of the Prophet, Imam Ali, and the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) in daily life. Grand Ayatollah Shirazi concluded that the Prophet’s life represents a complete model for guiding nations toward a future rooted in justice, compassion, and moral integrity.
