On Wednesday, Syria’s Internal Security Forces (Asayish) announced they had thwarted a mass escape attempt involving 56 individuals from Al-Hol camp in the Hasakah countryside. According to an official statement, the group attempted to flee using a large “Hyundai Inter” vehicle. Security personnel, monitoring suspicious activity, intercepted the vehicle as it approached the camp’s main gate.

All individuals involved have been transferred to relevant authorities for investigation. Al-Hol, which houses families linked to ISIS, remains under tight security due to frequent escape attempts and internal unrest, prompting continued reinforcement of protective measures in the camp.
