Commemoration of Imam Hasan al-Askari’s Martyrdom Held at Grand Ayatollah Shirazi’s Residence

On the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hasan al-Askari (peace be upon him), the residence of Grand Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Hosseini Shirazi in the holy city of Qom hosted a mourning ceremony on Monday, the 8th of Rabi al-Awwal.

According to Shia Waves Agency, the event was attended by Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, senior clerics, representatives of other leading religious authorities, seminary students, cultural figures, and large numbers of believers.

Participants honored the memory of the eleventh Shia Imam through mourning rituals and recitations, reflecting a renewal of devotion to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and the preservation of Islamic traditions on this solemn occasion.
