The medical center of the late Ayatollah Mirza Jawad Tabrizi in Najaf al-Ashraf is providing extensive healthcare services to Arbaeen pilgrims, operating in two daily shifts in collaboration with a team from Doctors Without Borders.
According to the Shia Waves Agency, the clinic offers a range of services, including general check-ups, wound dressing, injections, electrocardiograms (ECGs), emergency care, and some specialized and dental services. Clinic officials reported that between 150 to 300 patients are seen in each shift, with around 300 receiving outpatient services.
The center’s management emphasizes the importance of proper hygiene and nutrition for the pilgrims and has plans to equip a dental section in the near future.
