Holy Karbala hosts 2nd “Baqi: Identity and History” forum

The Imam Zain al-Abidin Foundation held the second scientific forum titled “Baqi: Identity and History” in Holy Karbala, with participation from scholars, academics, and representatives of holy shrines and religious institutions.

The event aimed to raise awareness about preserving Islamic heritage and the significance of the Baqi Imams’ shrines, which have faced destruction and erasure. Participants emphasized that caring for these sacred sites is a divine tradition rooted in history.

The forum also featured a calligraphy exhibition highlighting the legacy of Imam al-Sajjad (peace be upon him), showcasing works that reflect the depth of Islamic heritage. This forum continues the foundation’s efforts to revive the cause of Baqi in religious and cultural spheres.
