Detection of World War 2 bomb disrupts trains from Paris’ Gare du Nord

The discovery of a World War II bomb has caused significant disruption to morning traffic at Paris’ busy Gare du Nord train station, Arab News reported citing the French national railway company TER on Friday.
TER announced on the social media platform X that an unexploded bomb from the Second World War was found near the railway tracks. This disruption is impacting local metro services as well as national and international trains.
Eurostar’s website indicates that at least three trains scheduled to leave Gare du Nord on Friday morning have been canceled. The international train operator has not yet responded to an emailed request for further information. Additionally, French police were not immediately available to provide more details.
