Grand Ayatollah Shirazi reiterates need for modern media in spreading Ahlulbayt’s teachings
The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has reiterated the need to utilize modern media, particularly satellite channels, to spread the knowledge and teachings of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them. The Grand Marja emphasized that the current era requires leveraging these platforms to convey the truth and counter misleading ideologies.
In brief remarks published on his official website ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, he stated: “Who stands against the enemies’ ideological invasion? Writing books is beneficial and necessary, but our current era is the era of satellite channels. Just as proponents of falsehood use this medium to spread their ideas, we must employ it to disseminate the authentic culture of Ahlulbayt across the world.”
His Eminence pointed out that adversaries operate thousands of satellite channels to propagate their beliefs, making it imperative for believers to invest in this powerful medium to share the teachings of Ahlulbayt with the world and present the highest model of humanity.
Grand Ayatollah Shirazi consistently emphasizes the importance of utilizing modern technologies, whether in media or digital platforms, to promote the teachings of Ahlulbayt. He views these efforts as essential for guiding society towards righteousness and attaining divine satisfaction in the hereafter.
