Nine Terrorists Killed in North Waziristan Operations

Security forces in North Waziristan have conducted intelligence-based operations (IBOs) that resulted in the deaths of nine terrorists, Dawn Newspaper reported.

The operations took place in the Dosalli and Esham areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In the first engagement in Dosalli, six terrorists were killed, and two were apprehended. Following this, three more terrorists were neutralized in Esham after an intense exchange of fire, with two additional terrorists injured.

The military reported the recovery of weapons and ammunition from the deceased terrorists, who were involved in various attacks against security forces and civilians. The operations are part of ongoing efforts to eradicate terrorism in Pakistan, which has seen a surge in violent attacks since the Taliban regained power in Afghanistan in 2021.
