An explosion at a gas station in Yemen’s Al-Bayda province on Saturday claimed at least 10 lives and left more than 65 injured, according to a local government official.
The blast occurred in Zaher district, triggering a chain reaction that ignited two nearby gas stations and adjacent commercial warehouses.
The station was crowded with customers at the time, leading to panic and chaotic attempts to flee the flames. Authorities are investigating the cause of the explosion, which has not yet been determined.
