IHC, Misbah Al-Hussain Foundation intensify humanitarian efforts to support displaced families in Lebanon
The UK-based Imam Hussain Charity (IHC) has intensified its support for Lebanese families affected by the recent conflict, launching a critical donation campaign aimed at providing essential aid.
In partnership with the Holy Karbala-based Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development, IHC has been working on the ground to assist displaced families, establishing mobile and stationary kitchens that supply thousands of meals each day.
Additionally, a new campaign has been launched to prepare and distribute 1,000 food baskets for families in South Lebanon, helping them their immediate nutritional needs and offering vital support during this crisis.
Through its “Provide 100 Hot Meals for Lebanon” initiative, IHC encourages supporters to contribute to providing 100 nourishing meals to those facing food insecurity. The charity is also mobilizing aid for winter, distributing blankets, clothing, and coal to help families endure the freezing nights, alongside other essentials.
As Abdul Sahib Al-Kishwan, director of Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation, noted, the partnership has enabled daily distribution of approximately 6,000 meals, alleviating hunger and providing essential support.
Backed by Grand Ayatollah Shirazi’s offices and coordinated with the Imam Hussein Media Group, this campaign has expanded to include food baskets, warm clothing, and additional essentials for families in need.
This ongoing support underscores the charity’s commitment to improving lives and sustaining hope for those affected. To join the campaign and provide immediate aid, donations can be made by visiting (imamhusseincharity.com).
