Ibn Fahd al-Hilli Seminary hosts “Present and Future of Shi’ism in Europe” meeting in holy Karbala

On Wednesday July 3, coinciding the 26th of Dhul-Hajjah, the meeting of “Present and Future of Shiism in Europe” was held at Allamah Ibn Fahd al-Hilli (may Allah bless his soul) seminary, one of the scholarly centers affiliated to Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in the holy city of Karbala.

The meeting featured the presence of Professor Oliver Sharbet, professor of Lund University in Sweden and Harvard University in England.

In his speech, Professor Oliver Scharbrodt examined the situation of Shiites and the future of Shiism in the European continent and the most important factors and effective methods in the expansion of Shiism and the religion of the Pure, Immaculate Ahlul-Bayt (peace be upon them) in this continent.

He also answered some of the interventions and questions and emphasized that the moral and spiritual treasures of Shiism should be transferred to all mankind, because through it, the salvation of the hereafter and the happiness of this world will be achieved.

The meeting emphasized the importance of working through various means, especially the media, to explain the difference between Shiism and other schools.
