World Shirazi Foundation releases its message on World Day of Social Justice
On the World Day of Social Justice, the World Shirazi Foundation released its message today stressing that the absence of social justice in several countries has had a negative impact on the people, leading to a decline in living standards, health, education, the prevalence of corruption, and political unrest.
The Foundation emphasized the importance of social justice as a cornerstone for all governing systems. It expressed concern over the dominance of ignorance and exploitation of public wealth due to lack of awareness among some leaders and rulers in many countries, resulting in negative phenomena that harm both the people and authorities.
The Foundation called on Arab and Islamic leaders to review government policies, especially regarding basic rights such as education, healthcare, social security, and improving living conditions, underscoring the need for fair distribution of wealth and equality in opportunities without discrimination.
The message also drew attention to the importance of granting the right to freedom of expression, opposition, acceptance of differences and opinions, as these are essential components of social justice, urging all rulers to release prisoners of conscience and involve them in resolving political and social issues.
