Embassy of Iraq in London to grant entry visas to British pilgrims willing to perform Arbaeen Pilgrimage
The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the United Kingdom has announced the approval of granting entry visas to pilgrims willing to perform the Arbaeen Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) this year 1444 AH.
The Embassy of Iraq said in a brief statement posted on its website, and followed by Shia Waves News Agency: “The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the United Kingdom will grant entry visas to pilgrims to perform the Arbaeen pilgrimage this year.”
It added that “entry features include British passport holders and residents of the United Kingdom.”
It is worth mentioning that Shia followers of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) will commemorate on the twentieth of the current month of Safar in the holy city of Karbala, the fortieth day following the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), also known as Arbaeen, with the participation of millions of people from different countries of the world.
