Dating back to the early days of Islam, Quranic manuscript offered for sale in London
An ancient Quranic manuscript dating back to the beginning of Islam was offered for sale through the NFT market in the British capital, London.
The manuscript is a handwritten Quran that dates back to the beginning of Islamic history, according to tests carried out by the Department of Archeology and Art History of the University of Oxford.
The manuscript belongs to a family residing in the Swiss city of Geneva, which traveled between the Levant, Medina and Mecca for many centuries, and had kept that manuscript of the Quran centuries ago and never used it.
The manuscript will be displayed in London as an electronic file in the NFT market, which displays the rarities in an electronic way, a new market that will be worth 700 billion dollars in 2032, according to its founder Deepali Shukla.
