Grand Ayatollah Shirazi emphasizes importance of glorifying status, rituals of Sayyeda Fatima al-Zahra

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi has extended his condolences to Imam al-Mahdi, may Allah Almighty bring forward his honorable reappearance, on the occasion of the sorrowful anniversary of the martyrdom of his grandmother, Sayyeda Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon her.

Grand Ayatollah Shirazi’s office in Holy Qom held, for two consecutive days, mourning ceremonies to commemorate this sad occasion of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.

His Eminence emphasized the importance of glorifying the rituals of Sayyeda Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon her, by her devoted followers, as it is a way of glorifying the rituals of Allah (Exalted be He).

He also warned against weakening and undermining these sacred rituals, especially by those who oppose the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family.

He called on all Muslims to fulfill their duty towards Sayyeda Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon her, and to honor her memory in various ways, such as organizing programs and activities to raise awareness of her status and the injustices she suffered at the hands of enemies of religion and humanity.
