Tragic painting at Sharjah Art Museum depicting painful al-Taff Battle

A painting by the Iraqi artist Kazem Heidari was displayed in the “Parallel History” exhibition organized by Barjeel Art Foundation, depicting the painful tragedy of al-Tuff Battle in Holy Karbala.

The painter, through his painting, was able to convey the atrocious crime that befell Imam Hussein, peace be upon him) in the tragedy of al-Tuff.

According to report by ‘The National News’ obtained by Shia News Agency, the Sharjah Art Museum hosted an art exhibition entitled “Parallel History” in which 120 artists from many Arab countries participated, including 78 artists who are displayinh their works for the first time in this museum.

The report stated that the art exhibition was presented by the Barjeel Global Arts Foundation and will continue until the spring of 2024, in a bid to showcase contemporary and modern art to visitors from around the world.

The painting shows ten horses as if they are neighing and uttering in pain and sadness as they gather in a tragic scene depicting the tragedy of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein and his family and companions.
