California government honours Shia humanitarian organization for its efforts in assisting women, children
The local government of California, USA, has honoured a Shia organization for its active role in helping children and women in need.
The Council of Shia Muslims in Southern California, USA, announced on Wednesday that the International Time Organization for humanitarian relief, managed by Mrs. Najaf Bazi, had received a special award from the state government.
The award was given during a ceremony held in the state, in the presence of the heads of many Islamic and non-Islamic humanitarian organizations.
The council said that the “Time” organization deserves the award for its great efforts over the past years to change the lives of marginalized women and children.
The organization has worked to empower women and children to meet their basic needs.
The council also noted that the humanitarian organization had previously received support and appreciation from CNN in 2019.
The organization’s projects have helped to break the state of poverty in new and exciting ways.
