Representative of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Canada receives former Kuwaiti National Assembly member

The representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, and the director of the Global Imam Shirazi Center in Canada, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslmeen Sheikh Saleh Sebouieh, received the former member of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, Saleh Al-Ashour, during his recent visit to the country.

According to the correspondent of Shia News Agency in Canada, His Eminence Sheikh Saleh Sebouieh received Saleh Al-Ashour in his office in Toronto, where he visited Islamic centers affiliated with the Shirazi Authority in Canada.

Sheikh Sebouieh warmly welcomed this visit and the high interest shown towards the affairs of Shia Muslims in Canada and to open new horizons of cooperation to establish new projects that serve the followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, on religious, humanitarian and cultural levels.

Shia Waves correspondent explained that the two-day visit included an important meeting between the two parties, resulting in agreements to establish projects and programs that serve the Shia communities in the country. Al-Ashour then went to Montreal in Quebec to visit a number of Shia centers in the area.

According to information obtained by Shia Waves correspondent, Al-Ashour visited the Institute of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Abu Al-Qasim Al-Khoei, Ahlulbayt Mosque, Sayyeda Fatima Mosque, Al-Hawra Zainab Husseiniyah.
