Imam Al-Mahdi Association releases new book titled “Islamic Laws of Death and Burial”

The Imam Al-Mahdi Association in North America has published a new book in English that discusses the idea of death and being prepared for it, in addition to information about the procedures for burying the dead in the diaspora.

The association said in a post viewed by Shia Waves Agency: “Death is the inevitable end of worldly life. Just as God Almighty has laid out a complete plan for every aspect of our lives, from birth to all stages of life.”

It continued that “the recently published book entitled (Islamic Laws of Death and Burial) aims to provide all the necessary information so that believers can fulfill their obligations to God and towards each other”.

It added that “there are requirements that believers must meet and that are a prelude to eternal life in the hereafter,” explaining that “reminding of this right is part of obedience to God Almighty.”

The book includes many “Islamic rulings related to the deceased before, during, and after death, as well as brief information about the things that must be fulfilled, the prohibited acts, and even the recommended and disliked practices”.
