California-based Shia educational institute to host International Halal Food Festival

The Shia educational institute “Yasin”, located in the American city of California, is preparing to host the International Halal Food Festival, with the participation of a number of Islamic and Shia companies, restaurants, and brands.

The institute said in a statement on its website followed Shia Waves Agency that: “Shia and Muslim families will soon witness a major event in California, namely the hosting of an international halal food festival.”

The statement added “This festival aims to introduce companies, factories, brands, as well as restaurants that prepare halal food, including brands belonging to shia followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.”

The institute explained that it is “very important to develop this economic aspect in the west , and to promote the increase in halal food production that is relied upon by thousands of Muslims in California and America.”

He also pointed out that “the festival is also cultural in addition to its religious importance, as it can introduce American citizens and tourists to the cultures of Muslim peoples in the way they prepare food.”

It should be noted that Shia Waves Agency will follow up on the events of this international festival after the date of its holding is announced by the institute.
