Grand Ayatollah Shirazi reiterates his calls to believers to construct Husseiniyas to spread knowledge of Ahlulbayt

The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has recommended the followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, all over the world to continue holding religious activities and Husseini ceremonies at their husseiniyas.

In his farewell speech of the months of sorrow, his Eminence said that “Husseiniyas have important roles, which are not restricted to the holy months of Muharram and Safar, to spread the teachings and culture of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.”

The Grand Ayatollah emphasized that “Husseiniyas have the roles of schools, where in addition to holding Husseini ceremonies and rituals, they can benefit young men religiously, culturally, morally.”

His Eminence added that “There are many examples when a single piece of advice caused a person to embrace righteousness and success,” stressing the importance of “Caring for the younth to enable them be effective and influential persons and to perform their social roles.”

The Grand Marja reiterated his calls to the belive to “Construct and establish Husseiniyas in their neighborhoods to spread the biographies and teachings of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.”
